Job Description Summary
Full time 9 month position with the A.D.N program. This position will have responsibilities in classroom, lab and clinical areas. Position begins Fall Semester 2021.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing ( BSN ) from a regionally accredited institution with agreement to enroll and complete an accredited MSN program within four years of hire.
Work Experience:
Required: A minimum of two years clinical nursing experience and a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina.
Skills:
Required: Excellent oral and written communication. Proficiency with commonly used computer software.
Preferred Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing ( MSN ) from a regionally accredited institution.
Work Experience:
Preferred: Post-secondary teaching experience in a prelicensure nursing program. Strong medical-surgical, or intermediate nursing care experience.
Clinical assignments generally include day clinical and/or evening clinical. Theory is delivered with seated, or hybrid instruction. Preparation in teaching and learning principles including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation and/or willingness to seek continuing education as required by the NC Board of Nursing upon employment. This individual will also participate in course and curriculum design, development of student learning outcomes and assessment, serve on college committees, advise and register students, maintain office hours, and fulfill all the duties and responsibilities of instructors as required.
FLSA Exempt
Estimated Hours per Week 40 (A minimum of 30 of those to be worked on campus)
Salary $40,371 - $49,797 Based on the College's salary plan and commensurate with education and relevant work experience.
