Responsible for the oversight and coordination of all the programs and activities that support student recruitment, education and retention at the college and the campuses assigned. Provides the leadership necessary to fulfill the mission, objectives, plans and goals of the college. Ensures support services, academic courses in diploma and degree programs at the college meeting the needs of faculty, students and the community it serves. Leads the Academic Affairs departments for the region and assisting the Executive Directors of each campus in all education and training areas of planning, organizing, directing, staffing, coordinating, motivating, supervising, improving and evaluating all facets of the colleges campus academic department.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual retention student satisfaction, and certification goals of the college by structuring appropriate student services, supportive time for students, academic advising, inclusive of office hours, communication with students, etc.
Meets or exceeds daily student attendance goals for on ground programs and regular student engagement for on campus, externship, and blended courses.
Assist in the development and maintenance the student schedule for all programs and courses under supervision.
Coordinate timely academic advising for students failing satisfactory academic progress (SAP) in compliance with policy and regulations.
Verifies classes in all modality (blended, and on-ground) have qualified and appropriate coverage (faculty) and that instructors complete contractual agreements through module end dates.
Provides support in recruitment, interviews, hiring and on-boarding to all faculty
Conducts and documents biweekly one on one meetings with direct reports.
Must conduct monthly faculty academic meetings to address academic matters related to the programmatic offerings and policy enforcement or changes.
Conducts quarterly formal classroom observations of instructors, program coordinators and directors.
Leads the scheduling and guaranteeing requirements of annual faculty development, in-services and professional growth activities to meet the college and accreditation criteria.
Champions the hiring and onboarding process of instructor(s) for program
Ensures program operations, personnel, facilities and curriculum comply with state, accreditation and programmatic regulatory bodies.
Conducts New Faculty Orientation, Training Sessions, classroom observations and monthly instructor class assignments.
Assist Executive Director with New Student Orientation monthly to foster student engagement and persistence.
Works directly with the Re-Entry Coordinator and Admissions Department to ensure re-entry and laddering goals are achieved.
Manages program certifications and/or licenses for students by ordering, tracking, and assessing sit and pass rates to ensure goals are met.
Takes regular visual inventory of facilitys needs and make recommendations to appropriate parties, including the Regional Office of Academic Affairs and the Executive Director.
Monitors and ensure adherence to all safety protocols in laboratory classrooms.
Monitors, facilitates, and implements timely course development and curriculum revisions recommendations via coordination with and approval of VP for Academic Affairs.
Safeguards the student experience and satisfaction by analyzing and addressing student and needs based on quantitative data and qualitative data such as, classrooms observations and student surveys

Master's degree required, preferably in the field of Education or related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience in an educational setting, with service to adult students.
