International Market Insight Officer

The role

The International Office is seeking to appoint an outstanding International Market Insight Officer to support the work of the International Market Insight Team. Market Insight is an integral part of delivering the University of Bristol's international strategy for the International Office. The post-holder will directly contribute to providing sector-level intelligence, management information, data and reporting in support of overseas student recruitment, international partnerships and sponsorships, global opportunities, University portfolio reviews, and new programme development.

What will you be doing?

The postholder will be required to lead on delivering key data and reporting requirements for the international office, produce and communicate insights across university stakeholders, coordinate collaborative work with a number of data and data infrastructure teams across the University. The International Market Insight Officer will have a significant amount of autonomy in their role and will be expected to make decisions independently, coordinate work between colleagues across the organisation, disseminate their output to all levels of the organisation and act as a confident and authoritative voice for the work of the team.

You should apply if

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate significant experience in developing, maintaining data dashboards across different platforms, proven analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to present and communicate complex issues to varying stakeholders, good working knowledge of SQL and/or Power Query/PowerBI, experience in leading or conducting independent data and insight projects. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with a strong background in higher education data.
