Position Summary

A biotech startup company currently located near Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. We strive to develop therapeutic antibodies to treat multiple diseases, including cancer and inflammatory diseases.

Seeking a talented and highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to drive its discovery research and support our platform and pipeline. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of, and strong technical skills in, cell biology, mouse disease models, & assay development. Applicants should be outstanding team members and effectively communicate across internal multi-disciplinary teams, as well as with external collaborators. The candidate will need to manage multiple projects in a fast-move, data-driven and results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Design and execute in vivo studies using murine models including cancer immunotherapy
  • Administer test samples into murine models, collect blood/tissue samples, and analyze the samples (RNA/protein).
  • Design and execute assays to evaluate immune cell phenotype and function (mouse and human)
  • Design and perform cell-based immunological & biochemical assays for evaluating drug candidates
  • Carry out multi-parameter flow cytometry
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix system to meet internal and collaboration project milestones
  • Clearly communicate findings to management and multidisciplinary groups
  • Maintain accurate and complete electronic laboratory notebooks in accordance with our policy.
  • Establish & update SOP documentation for all relevant processes
  • Required Experience and Skills:
  • In-depth experience in flow cytometry-based assays (multicolor) is preferred
  • Direct experience working with in vivo murine models
  • Deep hands-on experience with cell biology and biochemistry techniques, including SDS-PAGE, 'WB, IP, ELISA, reporter assays, qPCR, IHC, & IF
  • Data analysis software, such as Flowjo, Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and SnapGene

Requirements
  • Recent Ph.D. in the field of immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Must have strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
