Responsibilities of the Research Associate, Pathology:
- Support the pathology efforts by performing histologic and immunofluorescence staining of slide-based tissue and cell preparations
- Perform standard in vitro cell and molecular biology assays including protein, RNA, and metabolite isolation, as well as preparing samples for FACS and microscopy
- Process data using Image J, Python, R, or MATLAB scripts
- Maintain commonly used lab reagents and assist with ordering as needed
Requirements of the Research Associate, Pathology:
- MS in Biology or equivalent with 0-2 years of microscopy experience in a research or lab setting
- Experience with image analysis highly preferred
- Collaborative mindset and ability to constructively work with others
