Laboratory Data Entry
Position Summary:
GS Labs is looking for responsible Laboratory Data Entry team members to assist with verifying and reporting results in cooperation with the rest of the COVID-19 PCR Test team. To ensure reliable and accurate results, a successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, have the ability to follow concise direction, is willing to properly work with biohazardous test samples while wearing the proper PPE, and must be able to multi-task. Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred, but not required.

Our Lab is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with the following shift schedule:
Shift 1: 9:00am-5:00pm - $21/hour
Shift 2: 5:00pm-1:00am - $23/hour
Shift 3: 1:00am-9:00am - $23/hour

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Receive and Prepare samples/specimens
- Work with the processes and medical technologies to prepare samples to be tested
- Produce accurate and reliable data in the specified timeframe, document results accurately and completely
- Follow process to complete routine tasks
- Adhere to procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines
- Document all activities, record results, and provide data to Administrative team members
- Other duties as assigned
- The Lab Admin will be provided all PPE (gloves, face mask and/or shield, smock).
Experience and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required and must be able to provide copy prior to start; additional education preferred
- Must possess at least one year of prior work experience
- Computer literacy and experience
- Accuracy and close attention to detail
- Strong analytical judgement
- Ability to multi-task and maintain precise organization in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow routine process without deviation
- Must communicate effectively - verbally and written
- This position requires physical mobility, manual dexterity, the ability to listen, read, and write. The incumbent must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- The incumbent of this position must show up to work in a timely fashion, possess good hygiene, and be responsible for properly wearing all PPE
