Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative preclinical pharmacology scientist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in the critical identification, selection and characterization of drug candidates and their progression towards the clinic. This scientist will play a key role in designing in vitro and vivo pharmacology studies to demonstrate the proof-of-concept in preclinical studies for various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute in vitro and in vivo studies to understand drugs' mechanism of actions and to demonstrate proof-of-concept in preclinical models
  • Design and execute preclinical studies to understand the pharmacokinetics (PK) and absorption, metabolism, distribution, and excretion (ADME) of drugs, and to translate PK/PD relationship from preclinical to clinical using modeling and simulation
  • Serve as a pharmacology representative and the subject matter expert in the interdisciplinary team, contributing to the execution of experiments in support of overall research activities and project goals
  • Participate in the selection and
  • management of CROs/academic sites in the conduct of in vitro/in vivo studies

Job Qualification:
  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of industry experience
  • Experience managing studies conducted at CROs
  • Experience in PK/TK principles and design, execution, data analysis, interpretation and statistical analysis of ADME/PK and PK/PD studies
  • Experience successfully preparing Pharmacology sections of regulatory documents
  • Strong communication skills, presentation skills and cross-functional collaboration are required
