Description of Position: Our client is seeking a hand on motivated scientist to lead the Pharmacology function of biotherapeutics programs in a fast-paced early biotech environment. The individual hired will work with the Research Leadership and partner CROs on the design and implementation of the company's biotherapeutics pipeline. They will manage and oversee the design and execution of in vitro assays and in vivo models to support lead identification and optimization for the biotherapeutics discovery programs.

- Work with partner CROs on design and implementation of in vitro and in vivo pharmacology strategies for biotherapeutics discovery programs
- Collaborate with the Protein Sciences lead to design antibody hit screening funnels
- Analyze, review and interpret pharmacology data of discovery programs to enable decision making
- Lead biotherapeutics discovery projects from hit identification to candidate selection
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- PhD in biochemistry, immunology, cell biology, or related field with 8 years of experience in biologics drug discovery, with at least 5 years in biotech or pharma
- Demonstrable broad expertise in immunology and relevant experimental techniques including in vitro and in vivo autoimmunity assays and models
- Experience in evaluation of biotherapeutics including multispecific antibody formats
- Program leadership experience in biotech or pharma
- Ability to manage multiple projects with CRO partners
- Independent self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
