A postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Gerd Blobel at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. This position is focused on regulatory mechanisms of globin gene expression and the development of therapeutic tools for the treatment of hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell disease and b-thalassemia.
