Department Description

• Our diverse and inclusive Innovation and Application Engineering Team is a key contributor to our successful Vehicle Repair & Maintenance Adhesives Business specifically focused on Electric Vehicle repair. The scope of responsibility includes developing solutions for Key EV components mainly battery pack and application. Providing Technical advice and support of our Customers, Distribution Partners and Sales Teams on their technical requirements - such as product and application recommendation, expert training, or troubleshooting and validation of products on customer application by conducting trials at customer site and / or at our new to launch EV training showroom. Our Application Engineering Team also collaborates with local and regional cross-functional teams to create sustainable innovations of adhesives to satisfy our customers' needs.

Job Description

• As Global EV Application Engineer and an ambassador of our core brand LOCTITE & TEROSON you are passionate about inspiring and creating new users for our adhesives & sealants portfolio
• You actively shape the future of our new to be built EV Training showroom in Shanghai, China and how we're bringing face-to-face and digital training to the next level
• Through your experience and customer feedback, you develop future training content to strengthen LOCTITE & TEROSON usage and technical skills of our customers.
• You are the key team player in a diverse and international team who will collaborate effectively with Sales, Market strategy and Product Development for successful product launch, project win and business growth Globally.
• You add value to Customers' Repair, Maintenance, and process, by offering your technical advice and solutions on product, application, and dispensing equipment on-site and/or at our Technical Center.
• As the innovation driver of the EV Training Showroom, you plan the activities and the use of the resources, have a firm grip on the schedule and budget; this way, you ensure the maximum efficiency of all training programs, whether on-site or virtual

YOUR SKILLS

• Engineering graduate with strong technical background and/or affinity.
• Minimum of 5 years of Automotive experience ( Technical/Training Center background will be an advantage).
• High Voltage battery specialist (Design or repair engineer) - Mandatory
• Electric motor or e-axil (Design or repair engineer) - Preferred
• Electric Vehicle Power electronics specialist - Preferred
• Fluency in English & Chinese
• Excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills
• Interest to engage on various digital platforms and social media
• Ability to travel internationally
• Driving license.
