Job Description Summary:
The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking laboratory research associate to join our GWU COVID-19 surveillance laboratory. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a high-complexity testing laboratory as a part of a public health laboratory team to collect, test, and analyze samples collected from George Washington University community and for other COVID-19 related testing and research activities. The Laboratory Associate, Shift Lead will report to the Manager, Assay Development, and will be responsible for hands-on laboratory work and data analysis for PCR-based and serological testing, and could be assigned additional responsibilities associated with General or Technical Supervisor roles in a High Complexity CLIA-certified Laboratory.
