Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute is seeking a fellowship trained neurosurgeon in spine surgery to join the comprehensive neurosciences program at Saint Luke's Hospital, a 611-bed, regional tertiary hospital located in the beautiful Country Club Plaza district in Kansas City. It is the flagship hospital of locally owned and operated Saint Luke's Health System which is comprised of 10 leading hospitals in the KC area.

Saint Luke's Hospital is a Joint Commission Certified Hospital in Spine Surgery as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield Spine Center of Excellence +. Additionally, there are two physiatrists who help support the spine program. There is ongoing multidisciplinary collaboration with specialties such as physiatry, pain management, neurology and pain psychology through weekly spine case conference, spine integrated practice unit (IPU), and spine multidisciplinary collaborative. The Spine program is also participating in a national registry and is performing above national benchmarks in return to work, patient satisfaction and various patient outcome measures.

The Neuroscience Institute has recruited and developed a team of exceptionally trained neurosurgeons with the goal of creating one of the finest neurosurgery groups in the country. Several of the neurosurgeons in the practice have subspecialty interests and have developed multidisciplinary programs to enhance the quality of the work. Academic appointments are available at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and there are opportunities for research and publication.
