YOUR ROLE

Job Summary

  • Responsible for Can Sealants product and technology in China
  • Evaluate raw materials and perform assigned projects related to product development of Can Sealants
  • Support Sales, Technical, Plant personnel and other teams on inquiries and requests that are related to Can Sealants
Responsibilities

  • Evaluate raw material, intermediates and Finished Goods related to Can Sealant
  • Cooperate with Technical, Quality and Operations teams on Can Sealant raw materials and product-relatedissue
  • Assist Technical and Sales team for new product development or introduction
  • Manage the China Can sealants PD laboratory and follow local and Henkel SHE regulations
Accountabilities (Time in %)

  • Conduct testing, product development and modifications, lab application tests, and raw material assessment and qualifications for Can Sealants 40
  • Participate in resolution of customer complaints and issues related to Can sealant product performance and application 25
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations/QC, FP, MMD, PSRA and other Henkel teams) for Can Sealants-related inquiries 25
  • Participate in Henkel SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) initiatives. Ensure safe condition and proper maintenance of the Can Sealant Laboratory. 10
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry (and/or related degree) - 5 years experience or more
  • Licensed Chemist (?)
  • Masteral degree in Chemistry and other related fields
  • Work experience in Specialty Chemicals company is an advantage
  • Fluent in oral and written English communication
