We are currently seeking experienced CDL candidates who are interested in passing on their knowledge by making connections and training students as a CDL Instructor. Our instructors are highly skilled industry professionals with a passion for inspiring others in our well-equipped training labs, shops, and vehicles.
We have an IMMEDIATE opening for a CDL Instructor position. We are seeking individuals with commercial driving experience and enthusiasm for the truck driving industry to instruct students. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to exhibit patience with students. This role is ideal for the candidate who has mentored or managed in the field; prior experience teaching in a formal educational setting is not required.
Position requirements include:
· A current, valid Class A license and all corresponding examinations and background checks
· Minimum of 3 years on-the-road trailer/tractor experience
A plus, but not required: preventative maintenance and inspection experience, passenger endorsement.
The hours are Monday - Thursday, 7 - 3:30 p.m. with occasional Fridays .
