Close All Job Summary The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder invites applications for two Faculty appointments in Accounting: 1) an Assistant Professor; and 2) an Open Rank appointment (i.e., Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Job duties for both positions include research, teaching, and service to the university and profession. The research interests of our faculty are mainly in the area of archival empirical research in accounting. Compensation and support for research activities are competitive. New employees must provide proof of vaccination or receive a medical or religious exemption within 30 days of employment. What We Can Offer Both vacancies are pending funding approval. What We Require Assistant Professor candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent in accounting or a related field or be close to completion of a PhD. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong potential in conducting scholarly research, in teaching ability, and in effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students, staff, and external constituents. Seasoned Assistant Professors are also encouraged to apply. Candidates who would like to be considered for an Associate or Full Professor position must hold a PhD or equivalent in accounting or related field. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of scholarly research with potential for continued success, high quality teaching, and effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students, staff and external constituents.
