Job Description
NeoSome Life Sciences is a growing, Massachusetts based preclinical research organization. The group conducts in-life studies within several therapeutic areas for both large and small R&D organizations.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Neosome within the area of oncology research and the evaluation of new wave therapeutic agents.
The group seeks an individual who as a strong understanding of the area of animal modeling in the oncology field. Potential candidates should have firsthand experience with xenograft and syngeneic mouse models; designing, conducting, and the analysis of the generated data. Applicant should be competent with cell culture techniques and cell-based assays. Candidate should have the ability to work closely with research staff and management while operating independently when necessary. The candidate will be expected to carry forward multiple projects and have strong management skills to develop cooperative teams. Basic abilities in the following techniques are required: rodent routes of administration: IM, IP, IV, SC, PO, and topical. Blood collection (RO, IC, sub-mandibular, and saphenous), tissue collection and processing. Experience with IVIS imaging software. Anesthesia, euthanasia., aseptic cell culture, cell-based assays, ELISA.
The candidate should be proficient in English, have the ability to communicate with clients and to discuss with clarity the design of studies and the meaning of the findings.
The candidate should have 4 plus years laboratory experience and either a MS or PhD
