Responsibilities: * Teach 3 courses per semester, including a mix of introductory multi-genre workshops, upper-level genre workshops, and an interdisciplinary course in General Studies * Serve as an advisor to majors and minors * Cultivate a publication record in the primary genre of expertise (publications outside the primary genre are also welcomed and encouraged) * Provide service to the university, community, and profession * Support Stockton University's diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission Qualifications: Required Qualifications: * MFA or PhD in Creative Writing, in hand by August 31, 2022 Preferred Qualifications: * Experience teaching creative writing courses * Record of publications in creative writing * Experience working with diverse populations * Experience connecting teaching or writing to public-facing activism or community engagement Required Documents: Curriculum Vitae, Letter of Interest, Unofficial Transcripts, Writing Samples How To Apply: Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
