POSITION SUMMARY

We are rapidly expanding our Rochester, NY Pilot Plant team and are seeking an exceptional, highly motivated Manufacturing Systems Lead to play a key role in supporting the growth of our organization. This individual will work closely with the commercial, supply chain and operations teams supporting a wide range of activities including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Demand Planning, Logistics, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance Support and Document Management software support roles. Strong organizational and communication skills combined with a willingness to learn, multitask, and expand with a commitment to excellence and high-quality work are required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manufacturing support roles including
    • Production planning and scheduling system implementation
    • ERP system introduction and site integration
    • Establish raw material sourcing and procurement processes including safety stock management.
    • Document management and training system Superuser
    • SharePoint team admin
    • Future audit support for ISO 9001:2015 certification
  • Logistics/Warehousing support including
    • Supplier selection, qualification and performance evaluation.
    • Material receiving & invoice management for raw materials, equipment and other site needs
    • Final product and sample shipping logistics coordination

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4 yr degree in a technical or business-related field required.
  • Experience in procurement, ERP & MRP software system implementation, operation, and improvement.
  • Shipping, logistics/3PL and warehousing systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving abilities and a willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Experience with quality, document & inventory management systems, software program implementation and/or label design programs is desirable
  • ISO 9001 or other certified quality system implementation experience a plus.
