This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join our busy and varied team. The role will support all functional areas of Exams, Awards & Graduation Team, with specific oversight on the Graduation Data area. You will be responsible for supervision of staff, facilitation of processes and procedures, and working with the co-level 3s and the Team Leader to ensure efficient and effective services to students, stakeholders and colleagues.

This particular post will be working as the key liaison between the EAG Team and Graduation Project stakeholders. Therefore, experience working within Projects or some Project Management skills would be beneficial. Experience in events is desirable, strong organisational skills, confident data analysis and excel skills with customer service focus are essential.

You will be an excellent team player with effective partnership working, excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to adapt to change quickly, maintaining receptiveness to new ideas and approaches. You will also be able to plan and prioritise your own short, medium and long-term work activities as well as those of your team and be able to use your own initiative and judgement to resolve problems. In addition, you will have a commitment to delivering excellent services and have a keen eye for detail and quality.

This post is an administrative and supervisory role with a strong element of data analysis and project board liaison and as such is not purely a 'desk job' there's lots of variety and activity to be involved with, which is usually what attracts and appeals to people looking for an exciting and engaging role. Due to our diverse workload and tasking, some elements of our work can only be completed in office/on campus.

The post holder will be expected to work on Campus, in a shared office (subject to risk assessment and H&S measures) from the start of the contract. Participation in the University of Southampton Covid-19 saliva testing scheme and adherence to all relevant H&S measures for campus working will be essential to the post.
