Fixed-term contract available for three years in the first instance.

The Director Economic and Social Policy Research, is responsible for leading the South Australian Centre for Economic Studies (SACES) and the Future of Employment and Skills Centre (FES), in the School of Economics and Public Policy (SEPP).

The Director's primary role will be to harness these capacities and potential to position the Centres for future growth in the Australian context, and beyond. These Centres deliver high quality, multi-disciplinary public policy insights to the South Australian government, other Australian States, and the Federal government, as well as corporate clients.

The School of Economics and Public Policy has an international reputation for the quality of its education, research programs and the outstanding impact of its graduates. It seeks a high calibre Director to provide leadership in the next stage of its development.

Candidates will have an established and highly credible academic background, with a vision of how economics should be positioned in local, national and international contexts, as agreed with the Head of School (SEPP).
