Were looking for a New Product Introduction/Process Engineer to join our team and help us build our next portfolio of synthetic cell products. You will be working across a variety of company verticals, including R&D, manufacturing, and analytical chemistry/process engineering. Your primary objective is to support our process engineering team with New product introduction (catalog and custom products) and sustaining activities. To be successful in this role, youll need experience with basic molecular biology, biochemistry, and laboratory techniques, process and test method optimization/validation, and creating manufacturing documentation. You should also be comfortable writing technical reports and analyses of your findings, with the goal of reporting results clearly to management. We are a small but growing team and the applicant must be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and driven applicants are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work in a cross functional team including R&D, Process engineering and Manufacturing to transition research into production.

* Design, Execute, Optimize and Validate biochemical conjugation/flow cytometry based assays and QC test methods.

* Write technical reports of the test results and present them to the leadership team.

* Create manufacturing procedures and documentation, BOMs, Routings, Costing etc for New Product transfer to Manufacturing.

* Support Phase 4 activities (customer complaints, continuous improvement, Manufacturing floor support) as needed.

* Support general lab activities (supply chain, operations)

* Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines

Requirements

* Background in biochemistry, molecular biology, or an equivalent field

* Hands-on experience with standard laboratory workflows, writing and validating protocols

* Good knowledge of laboratory health and safety standards

* Excellent analytical and research skills

* Attention to detail and excellent communication skills/systems

* Project Management experience is a plus

* Experience in ERP software is a plus

* BS or MS in Chemistry/Biology/Material Science or equivalent

* 4+ years of industrial or equivalent experience required
