Job Description
Taekwondo Instructors Needed
We are looking for part-time Taekwondo instructors who are patient and experienced in working with children, fun and energetic, responsible, and motivated to teach kids and adults Taekwondo. The Taekwondo instructors must be able to plan classes and tailor them to the skill level of the students. Classes include teaching new techniques, practicing strikes on pads or heavy bags, sparring, stretching, conditioning and discussing the history or philosophy of the art. Instructors should be able to keep students engage in class and available before and after class to speak with students, answer questions, and make sure students are on track to reach their goals. Instructors must be able to administer belt tests for students to advance to the next belt level, help students to train for demo teams, and attend tournaments.
This is an existing program with students at all belt levels.
Hours: 4-5 pm Monday to Thursday with the possibility for additional hours for the right candidates.
Location: Severna Park MD
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should have a minimum of a WTF 1st Dan and teaching experience is preferred.
