Supervises student clinical learning experiences in the Associate Degree Nursing program in accordance with the Board of Nursing and Grayson College Associate Degree Nursing policies and procedures. This is a part-time position which pays $35.00/hour.
45% Provides instruction in the clinical settings as assigned. Supervises student clinical learning experiences in the affiliate agency or alternative practice setting with a faculty to student ratio of 1:10.20% Facilitates clinical experiences to meet clinical objectives and maintains collegial attitude with clinical sites.15% Works as a team member in the Associate Degree Nursing Department; complies with the faculty responsibilities as outlined in the Faculty Handbook and the Colleges Policy and Procedure Manual. 15% Provides verbal and written formative and summative evaluation of students and clinical experiences to measure the attainment of objectives. A Master's degree in nursing from an accreditedcollege or university is required.A minimum of three years of current professional clinical nursing experience is required.Previous successful experience teaching in an educational environment is preferred.Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
