An exciting opportunity with the Advanced Technologies team currently involved in new cutting-edge products and processes. In this innovative team you will provide expertise and clinical insights on the device, procedure and protocol throughout the life cycle of the clinical investigation. Key Responsibilities: * Identify ongoing educational and project needs. Create and oversee the implementation of the identified projects and ongoing educational needs in partnership with key stakeholders. Act as a core team lead and provide consultation on various internal and/or field-related projects with cross-functional teams * Provide clinical expertise on all aspects of product lines and/or clinical affairs site management and provide guidance and clinical insight to team members * Develop content for training programs and provide clinical expertise on new product development * Provide indirect leadership through guidance, coaching and development for team members * Manage training and provide hands-on coaching and mentorship in the field for all new hires * Investigate and analyze ongoing training needs and develop training plans and programs that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business while partnering with leadership * Create and present customized technical content. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and employees on technical matters relating to EW products through conducting and/or coordinating various programs, seminars, and internal and external symposiums * Lead in process improvement projects by driving program effectiveness and ensuring overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective * Provide guidance to physicians during cases on device and procedure for early feasibility trials * Develop physician training materials and update based on learnings from clinical experiences * Provide clinical expertise to cross functional team to aid in next generation device development * Participate in wet lab and animal lab studies to aid in product development, procedural development and investigations Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in in related field & a minimum of 8 years experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience OR * Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field and 6 years experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience * Previous industry experience * Ability to travel to up to 80% Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery * Experience in the cardiac cath lab General Expectations: * Excellent facilitation and presentation skills * Ability to develop procedures and processes in an early-stage program * Proven successful project management skills * Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and related systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative, influencing, and relationship management skills * Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization * Ability to relate to physicians, nurses, and senior-level healthcare managers * Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Extensive knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to clinical education * Extensive understanding of cardiovascular science * Extensive understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology * Extensive understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting * Ability to manage confidential information with discretion * Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes * Strict attention to detail * Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels * Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to work in a team environment, including serving as consultant to management. * Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations * Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control For Colorado Residents Only: Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families. The base pay range for this position is $152,000.00 to $177,000.00.
