Roosevelt University's Department of Sociology seeks an adjunct to teach SOC 101 Introduction to Sociology for the Spring 2022 semester, to begin the week of January 18 at the Chicago campus (425 S. Wabash). Adjunct faculty will work with majors and/or non-majors students in the classroom, and will be responsible for planning, instruction and grading in classes of up to 30 students. Department staff and faculty will provide training, support and materials for use in these courses. We are seeking a candidate who shares our commitment to Roosevelt University's social justice mission. Teaching assignments are offered on a semester-by-semester basis only. Additional employment may be offered if courses are available and the applicant demonstrates successful teaching methods.
