Indiana University Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our up and coming Emergency Patient Service's - Clinical Decision Unit. Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients. Emergency nursing meets inpatient nursing in our new 10 bed Clinical Decision Unit. This dedicated unit adjacent to the Emergency Department functions with our Emergency Department Team to serve patients who require close monitoring over a short duration in order to determine next steps. Within IU Health Nursing our residency program, Transition to Practice, will guide you through your first year as a nurse within our organization. Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
