YOUR ROLE
- Mixing raw materials and preparing formulations
- Perform basic testing: viscosity, electrical conductivity, adhesion, density, potlife, hardness and reactivity
- Record laboratory tasks and results in the corresponding electronic format (ELN and/or Albert), maintaining traceability
- Compiling of results or other experiments as planned by the chemists, in accordance with project and customer needs
- Adopt the SHE and 5S standards of the AEI-PD lab and follow them
- Contribute actively to a safe working environment by applying safety procedures on site and ensure that all work is done in line with certified quality standards
- Maintain raw materials inventory working with digital tools
YOUR SKILLS
- Student who has successfully passed first semesters in chemistry, material science, polymer chemistry or related studies
- Strong communication skills in English/German are required
- Very good MS Office application knowledge
- Basic knowledge of scientific methods and ability to understand and carry out standard methods relevant to the department
- Starting date as of April 2022 for six months
