Academic Radiologist Cardiothoracic Imaging

The University of Missouris School of Medicine,Department of Radiology, is searching for a fellowship-trained cardiothoracic imaging radiologist to join our team. Our unique academic environment for seasoned candidates, as well as those just getting started, post-fellowship.

About MU Cardiothoracic Imaging

The University of Missouri Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging provides comprehensive imaging services for the diagnosis of pulmonary, cardiac and vascular diseases. We work closely with other clinical services including pulmonary medicine, oncology, radiation therapy and surgery. Our multidisciplinary approach provides exceptional clinical care and provides robust research opportunities. The division provides imaging interpretation for studies performed at University Hospital, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Womans and Childrens Hospital, and numerous outpatient facilities. In addition, we accept one fellow per year in ourCardioThoracic Imaging Fellowship.

  • Number of available positions: 1
  • Join a department of 26 radiologists, 2 of which specialize in Cardiothoracic Imaging
  • Responsibilities are:
    • ~80% clinical
    • ~5% Teaching/education
    • ~15% Administration
  • State of the art technology including high field strength MRI scanners (3T and 1.5T), dual energy CT.
  • We offer opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of students, residents, and fellows across eight radiology fellowship programs,including a Cardiothoracic Imaging radiology fellowship, as well as research and scholarly activities.
  • All ranks available; non-tenure-track

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO,
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in radiology and fellowship-trained in Cardiothoracic Imaging radiology.
  • For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible physicians are considered experienced.
