Postdoctoral Position in SARS-CoV-2 RNA Biology

The Postdoctoral Research Associate in SARS-CoV-2 RNA Biology will assume a leading role in a collaborative study on how RNA conformational switches regulate coronavirus biology. Specifically, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for molecular biology and reverse genetics experiments to construct and study SARS-CoV-2 replicons containing fluorescent reporters for transcription, translation, and frameshifting of viral RNA. Furthermore, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will collaborate with a team of organic chemists and biochemists, to study how Peptide Nucleic Acids modulate conformation and biological activity of SARS-CoV-2 RNA.
