Job Description
School of Education - Half-Time Faculty

St. Ambrose University has an opening for a half-time lecturer in the School of Education. The successful candidate will be assigned to teach courses relating to the development of PK-12 undergraduate teacher candidates. It is anticipated that coursework will be offered primarily in face-to-face environments, although the ability to teach in multiple formats is desired. Additional duties will include supervising student teachers and academic advising. Qualifications: Master's degree or earned doctorate in education or related field, demonstrated focus on improving student achievement, strong communication skills, leadership experience at the building or district level in PK-12 public or private schools, proficiency in the use of technology, willingness to teach in different delivery modes (traditional classroom, hybrid, online), demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity and inclusivity, experience with learning management systems, Google platform and teleconferencing.
