Registered Nurse


Diagnostic/Interventional Laboratory

Full Time/Days, 7am - 3:30pm

The RN Diag/Interv Laboratory delivers nursing care to all patients presenting to the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Intervention, and EP Labs. They perform nursing assessments/diagnosis/care plan/and implementation of treatment to all patients to include administering treatment, medication, and procedures to the patients. The position requires the ability to listen and interact effectively in order to identify and meet customer needs as well as provide instructions and explain policy and procedures. This is a multifunctional role as the RN will circulate the case Cath, EP, Interventional radiology, and NEURO intervention.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required
  • Current State of TX RN license or compact state license requried
  • Current BLS and ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or 2 year experience in critical care or ED
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Multi-tasking a must
  • Self motivated and able to problem solve and make decisions
