Do you have experience of supporting research activity and a thorough understanding of impact in the context of Higher Education?
Do you possess experience of working with non-academic audiences, groups and organisations?
Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of academic research to wider society?
This role aims to enhance the quality of, and build evidence for, the impact of research carried out across the Schools of Music and PCI. You will work closely with the Directors of Impact across both Schools to generate, record, and organise evidence of impact arising from staff research and support the integration of impact activities within research grant applications. You will carry out systematic reviews of impact excellence and best practice across the Arts and Humanities to inform strategic decisions about impact activity and training needs, including analysis of REF data. You will also assist in the planning and delivery of outward-facing activities such as workshops, public lectures and exhibitions, working with non-academic audiences to maximise their impact. You will be based at the University of Leeds and appropriate mentorship and career development support will be provided in line with career stage as part of the role.
