POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE- ASOKAN LAB
The Asokan lab (www.asokanlab.org) affiliated with Duke Department of Surgery, Molecular Genetics & Microbiology & Biomedical Engineering is seeking highly motivated candidates for two open postdoctoral fellow positions. These positions will focus on the development of novel RNA platform technologies for gene therapy and editing with a focus on cardiovascular and neuro/muscular applications. A competitive salary and benefits pac kage will be provided according to the Duke University School of Medicine guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Ph.D. in biological sciences, biomedical engineering or related scientific field.

Experience: Background and training inRNA biology, epigenetics or genome editing is highly preferred. Extensive experience in molecular cloning techniques, next gen sequencing tools and bioinformatics is preferred. Experience with iPSC culture and differentiation techniques and/or mouse models is a plus.
