*Counselor Education* - to teach introductory courses; advanced courses; Ph.D. level courses; and field placement courses. Courses meet once weekly (M-Th 4:30 PM and/or 7:30 PM at the Union campus; Kean Ocean offers weekend courses and some weekday evening courses). Courses are assigned based on departmental needs. Additional requirements include: licensure as an LPC, with ACS preferred or school counselor certification required to teach field placement courses. A Ph.D. in Counseling is required to teach doctoral level courses. Courses are to be taught in-person at the Union and Ocean campuses.
All adjunct positions require a Master's degree in a related field and teaching experience unless otherwise indicated; candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D. or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Blackboard and Online Learning Pedagogy is required of all adjuncts, consistent with University guidelines. Kean may offer free voluntary Blackboard workshops to otherwise qualified applicants.
