Position Information: *Duties & Responsibilities*This is a part-time, non-befitted position. Seeking a highly motivated and independent personnel to assist the lab manager on the routine analytical service at Materials characterization lab (MCL) and Environmental Analytical Research Lab (EARL). The job duties include:
Routine analysis using several instruments such as XRD, SEM and ICP-OESSome administrative works such as scheduling, training and bookkeepingDaily lab maintenanceExcellent communication, recording, reporting and time-management skills*Requirements*
Experience in chemistry, physics, or relevant backgroundExperience in lab service or analytical instrument is preferredSuccessful completion of criminal history records check*Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification*$14 - $20 per hour*Work Schedule/Start Date*flexible schedule based on the workload, minimal 15 hours.
