Shenandoah University's School of Pharmacy is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Director of Admissions & Alumni Affairs. This is a full-time benefited position located on our Health Professions campus in Winchester, Virginia with an anticipated start date of February 2022.
Founded in 1996, the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy quickly developed into a school recognized for its innovative curriculum and instruction. It remains mission-driven, committed to educating future pharmacy professionals to deliver patient-centered, advanced care in a rapidly changing and ever-expanding healthcare environment. The Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy is one of seven health professions programs at Shenandoah University, allowing for numerous interprofessional education (IPE) and research opportunities. It offers several degree pathways: a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD), a dual PharmD/MBA program, a dual PharmD/MPH program, a dual PharmD/MS in Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine program and, for distance learners, a Non-traditional Doctor of Pharmacy (NTDP Pathway). Common to programs is the integration of technology, IPE and genomics into education and practice. It operates two campuses in Virginia: one in Winchester, located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley on the campus of a 400-bed regional medical center, and the other in Fairfax, Virginia, near Washington DC and multiple educational and research centers.
