Position Summary
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation under Dr. Jianhua Yu and Dr. Michael Caligiuri. This candidate will be supporting one of our many projects focusing on NK cell biology, cancer immunotherapy through engineered CAR T and/or CAR NK cells, oncolytic virotherapy, antibody development, stem cell (including iPSCs) research, depending on the individuals interests and strengths.

Education, experience, and skills required for consideration

* PhD degree in Life Sciences or related field with a strong background and profound knowledge in the field of either virology, immunology, cancer immunology or immunotherapy
* Previous experience in working with animal models of human cancers
* Literature knowledge of one of the research areas mentioned above
* Evidence of scientific rigor and excellence as documented by high-impact peer-reviewed publications
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written
* Commitment to the program at least for three years
