Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

Hartwick College, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. This position is a full-time faculty position, starting in the summer of 2022. Hartwick College seeks an innovative educator who will be responsible for an average of 23 semester credit hours, and teaching assignments in the areas of pharmacology, health assessment, and foundations in nursing science.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of M.S. in Nursing at the time of the appointment;
  • Unencumbered NYS RN license;
  • Recent relevant clinical or educational experience and certification;
  • Expertise in any of the following areas: Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, and/or Geriatric Nursing; and
  • Commitment to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching, and to working closely with students.

Preference will be given to applicants with a doctorate in nursing or a closely-related field, at least three years of full-time college-level classroom and/or distance/on-line teaching experience and additional areas of nursing specialization.
