Job Description: About the Social Work Department: The Social Work Program at Siena has been CSWE accredited since 1985 and was last reaccredited in 2015. The program's mission supports and is supported by the mission and learning goals of the School of Liberal Arts and Franciscan traditions of the College. The program has a strong commitment to preparing baccalaureate students for effective generalist social work practice, equipped with the requisite professional knowledge, values, ethics, and skills. Job Description: The Social Work Program at Siena College is seeking applicants for two full-time tenure track Assistant Professor positions beginning fall 2022. Faculty are responsible for a 3/3 teaching load, teaching across the curriculum, and have the ability to develop electives based on their interests. In addition to teaching, faculty are expected to engage in academic advising, service to the department, college and community, as well as research/scholarship which includes publication and presentations. Requirements: Requirements: * Minimum of an MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program or equivalency established. * Minimum of two years of post MSW practice experience. * Commitment to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds. * Commitment to the NASW Code of Ethics. * Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of Siena College. * A background screening will be required.
