The University seeks Full-Time faculty Nurse Educators and Nursing Specialists who have recent and/or current clinical experience and ideally some teaching, educational experience, preparation or ability. Faculty needed for both theory and clinical instruction in our BSN Program.

Nurse professionals or educators that have experience or approval in:

PEDIATRICS
MED SURG
WOMEN'S HEALTH
GERIATRICS
PSYCH

Job Requirements

Faculty must hold a genuine desire to develop stimulating and creative daily lesson plans and able to teach all scheduled classes; follow the established course outlines; Remain current in their teaching field; Develop an area of expertise and inquiry in research; Publish findings from their work and desire to pursue, write funding applications for their own research interests.

A Master's Degree in Nursing or PhD, professional Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required for the Bachelors programs. No less than a MSN for lead faculty or a BSN for assistant instructor in a skilled lab setting.

Nursing professionals or educators should hold a Current State of California RN License or ability to get State of California RN License. Recent clinical experience preferred. It is also critical that applicants have a real desire to perform, conduct and pursue research, wish to write grants and publications that speak to health care disparity issues. Especially those that affect minority populations disproportionately. Therefore, applicants must also possess an intense desire to cultivate, develop a nursing research mindset within students

Ability to further, enhance curriculum design and learning activities to address a wide range of learning levels and learning styles with a focus on research/evidence base practices.
Ability to work with a diverse population of students and staff.
Understanding of or willingness to learn current and emerging instructional delivery technologies
Teaching experience at an Associate, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral Degree programs a plus.
Committed to building a unique university setting that is spiritually centered, science focused, evidence based practice and truly care minded

MUST HAVE no less than TWO FULL YEARS of clinical experience.

MUST BE very driven about enhancing the educational field of nursing and rededicating the academic industry towards nursing excellence. Faculty experience at an Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral Degree programs in an accredited School of Nursing.

WE WILL CONSIDER THOSE WHO HAVE NO TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN A RN PROGRAM OR HAVE ONLY A FEW YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE:
