Location: San Francisco, CA Category: Faculty Positions Posted On: Tue Oct 5 2021 Job Description:

The Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) Program of the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) is accepting applications for two full-time faculty positions. The ICP program prepares students for the State of California MFT and LPCC licenses and a career in doing counseling and psychotherapy.

Teaching, advising and administration in the graduate program allows faculty members the opportunity to exercise broad-ranging intellectual curiosity; to work collaboratively with colleagues and students in formulating interdisciplinary inquiries; to develop and implement curriculum that addresses clinical theory and practice, cultural and contextual influences and factors (e.g., how cultural, gender and lifestyle issues shape people's experiences and concerns); and to create inclusive learning environments for students and faculty members.

The ICP program is offered in both a traditional weekly and an intensive weekend format. The weekend program begins with an eight-day retreat each August, followed by one weekend per month between September and May. Weekday and weekend schedule flexibility and availability will be important.
