This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the DNP and MNSc programs while also engaging in the scholarship and service mission of the College of Nursing.

Qualifications

  • Terminal degree (DNP or PhD ) in nursing, required
  • Unencumbered license as a certified registered nurse with eligibility for licensure in Arkansas; APRN licensure, current national certification as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC), Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and current prescriptive authority.
  • Three (3) years APRN practice experience with expertise in the management of adults across the life-span in a hospital or specialty clinical setting
  • Two (2) years teaching experience at the graduate level, preferred
  • Two years serving as a preceptor for APRN students
  • Demonstration of scholarship related activities (published manuscripts, presentation of abstracts and/or posters at conferences, grant funding), preferred
  • Eligibility to practice within the College's faculty practice plan

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
