Job Description
Testing facility in the San Fernando Valley has immediate openings for a chemist positions at our Cosmetic Lab. The position is for a cosmetics chemist for active ingredient testing. We are looking for an individual who is able to multi-task in a team environment.
It is imperative that our potential candidates have at least 2 years of experience working in instrumental analysis, specifically HPLC and GC, UPLC, UV, Titration, Chemstation, OpenLab and other chemical techniques needed to assay Pharmaceutical and OTC grade products such as BPO, Sunscreen and Salicylic Acid.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develop methods for analytical HPLC, GC-FID, GC-MS, LC, Spectrophotometer and other such equipment's for Chemical Analysis. 2. Analyze finished products, raw materials, bulk samples, utilizing appropriate methods.
Educational Requirements: 1. Must have a BS in chemistry or equivalent. 2. Knowledge of the current Pharmacopeia of Europe, America and Japan. 3. Must be familiar with Agilent HPLC, UPLC, Chemstation, Titration, pH, conductivity and other chemical techniques needed to assay Pharmaceutical OTC grade products such as BPO, Sunscreen and Salicylic Acid.
