Develops and advises on all aspects of fiscal and administrative affairs. Manages all grants, tuition, endowments, gifts, and other revenue streams and serves as the primary staff member responsible to the Dean for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the financial affairs. Oversees management of budget, and financial systems and processes, and long range financial planning. Is a member of the executive team and represents the College on all non-academic matters. Serves on institution-wide committees. Manages team of financial experts.*Duties:*
* Develops long-range financial forecast for all capital planning of the College. Coordinates preparation of the annual budget for the College in accordance with university procedures and timetables. Develops financial analysis for various strategies to revise faculty compensation policies. Monitors faculty salaries relative to peer institutions as well as internal equity of faculty salaries within the College.
* Directs, trains, and provides oversight and technical assistance to staff responsible for finance, budget, technology, accounting, personnel, business management, and grants and contracts. Prepares the supporting documentation along with financial and other information related to faculty new hires and promotions. Maintains all administrative records and develops well controlled administrative systems that provide optimal support of college activities. May serve as acting Dean in the Deans absence having signing authority.
* Directs effective development of the annual budget for the College. Reports regularly to the Dean and other University officers on the financial performance versus budget for the College, with appropriate analyses, variances, and recommendations for action to maintain and/or improve financial systems and reports. Maintains records of all College funds and develops and recommends policies regarding the use of funds. Provides strategic input for the resource allocation decisions.
* Accountable for the development of financial information for the College to external and internal agencies including financial liaison. Serves as the principal College financial representative in liaison with the University financial officers for issues within the accounting and budgeting area. Assures that basic financial systems meet the management and professional needs of the College.
* Responsible for reviewing sponsored project proposals prior to submission, including all grants and contracts, for financial implications. Responsible for maintaining accounting oversight for all post-award grants and contracts. Performs analyses and recommends financial policies relative to changes in external and internal funding, including state regulations and university policy.
* Performs various duties to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Job Location
*Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field.*Experience: *96 months experience in Accounting, Finance, Management, Financial Analysis, or Strategic Project Management*Skills & Abilities:*
* Ability to reconcile, extract, analyze and monitor accounts
* Knowledge of health care related business office practices and procedures
* Knowledge of health care billing and management information systems
* Ability to use independent judgment in applying financial policy
* Ability to use problem-solving techniques in systems improvement
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with faculty, staff and patients
* Ability to delegate responsibility to complete a project
* Working knowledge of budgeting practices and procedures
* Ability to utilize computers
* Ability to recognize and improve potential problem areas
*Preferred: *
* Experience in an academic environment
* Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
* Master's Degree of Health Administration (MHA),
* Master's Degree of Public Health (MPH),
* Master's Degree of Education or related field
