Position:

The Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts at Towson University invites applications for two full-time Lecturer in Psychology positions to begin August 2022.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold at minimum a master's degree in Psychology or a related field. Applicants whose teaching approach demonstrates a commitment to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Faculty are assigned an instructional workload of 24 credits per academic year. Teaching undergraduate courses such as: Behavioral Statistics, Research Methods, Biological Psychology, Diversity-related courses, and Introduction to Psychology is highly desired. Opportunities might exist to teach other courses depending on the applicant's area of specialty and the needs of the department. Undergraduate advising is part of teaching responsibilities. Service to the department, college, and university is expected. The successful candidate must have the ability to work with a diverse student population and be sensitive to the educational needs of these students.
