Indiana University Health, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a Nocturnist to join our team at the Academic Health Center at IU Health University Hospital in downtown Indianapolis!

Position Details:
  • Full-time, clinical opportunity, 100% inpatient
  • Nights (7pm-7am, 7 on 14 off)
  • Academic environment; dual employed with IU School of Medicine
  • Patient census: 6-8 per night
  • Admit to inpatient or appropriate level of care

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform or supervise the performance of patient care services to include history and physical examination, diagnosis, and medically manage and treat adolescent and adult patients
  • Collaborate with other attending physicians or consultants
  • Support APPs if needed for questions and unstable patients; APPs handle all cross over and bedside visits, unless back up is needed. APPs also help with work up of new patients, 24 hour service
  • Take transfer center calls to accept referred patients from outside hospitals or outside patients

Qualifications:
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine, preferred
  • Must be ABIM BE/BC
  • Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
  • Visa sponsorship; H-1B only

Compensation Details:
  • Compensation includes a base salary and WRVUs
