What's on offer?

We wish to appoint a permanent Lecturer in Health Geography, who will strengthen our team by sharing our passion for providing a high-quality research-led learning experience for students and innovative research for the benefit of all. The appointee will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students on a range of programmes but with a specific focus on health, wellbeing and public health. Applicants will be expected to lead and develop relevant modules and be responsible for their administration and assessment. The appointee will be expected to develop their research profile and contribute and complement existing expertise in environmental pollution and remediation, satellite remote sensing and landscape dynamics, and urban sustainability and health and wellbeing.

This role sits within the Geography and Environmental Management (GEM) subject group of the Sustainable Built and Natural Environments Directorate, and is intended to support and enhance the student experience of authentic, real-word knowledge and practice, as well as research and innovation.
