Who You Are

Associate's Degree in Nursing with 3+ years' experience in pediatric nursing or BSN
Current Colorado (or compact) Registered Nurse license
Current BLS/First Aid/CPR certifications
Colorado Department of Education Special Services License (required within 3 months of employment)
Comfortable speaking to Spanish-speaking families about health topics. Conversationally fluent in Spanish is preferred.

What You'll Do

Students' nursing assessments, nursing diagnoses, and treatment
Oversight of delegated nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel
Complete various administrative duties relating to the maintenance of student health files, creation of individual health care plans, and assistance with updating Medical 504 plans
Promote Atlas culture through providing appropriate medical resources to families in need, encouraging high expectations, and focusing on academic achievement for students

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed
