The Procurement Service plays an important role in supporting colleagues in procuring a diverse range of goods, services and works which are critical to the effective operation of the University. Following the successful delivery of our Spending Wisely transformation programme and having supported the University through the pandemic we are now focussed on delivering the next phase of our procurement strategic vision. We have several roles at a variety of levels where you will play an important role in the implementation of the procurement strategic plan.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced procurement professionals to work with colleagues from all corners of the organisation in ensuring our high-quality procurement arrangements reflect the needs and ambitions of the University strategy. As a member of the team, you will need a high level of commercial acumen, experience of delivering an end-to-end procurement process or strong contract management experience, with the ability to build strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholder groups - including academic and research staff, heads of professional services functions, key external suppliers and partners. Senior Category Manager - Level 5 (£39,739 - £50,296)

Procurement Manager - Level 4 (£31,406 - £38,587)

Each role has an additional market supplement of up to £3,000 dependent on qualifications / experience.
