Faculty Education Manager
The Office of the Academic Registrar seeks an experienced and highly motivated Faculty Education Manager to work across two Faculties.
You will work in partnership with the Associate Deans (Education), Deputy Heads of School (Education) as well as other academic and professional services colleagues to support and enhance educational provision and the student experience in the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
You will be committed to developing relationships with key academic colleagues and have excellent team working, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be highly motivated in managing a complex range of activities and able to manage a busy and diverse workload.
At a University level you will work closely with the Academic Registrar and Associate Directors across the Student Experience Directorate to develop the student experience and further the University's strategy.
With significant knowledge of quality assurance and enhancement in higher education, you will have a proven, successful track record of effective management in this field, with the ability to inspire and influence teams and individuals for whom the post holder has no line management responsibility.
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the current HE context, be solution-focused, have excellent influencing and negotiation skills and demonstrate the ability to think creatively and innovatively with a commitment to continual enhancement.
This full-time post offers an excellent opportunity for career development, and to be able to contribute to the development of a leading teaching and research university.
